NI REIT, through its Development Manager, Knightsbridge Development Corporation, has commenced the design phase of the redevelopment of 270 Hunter Road in Grimsby, Ontario. GEC Architecture will be the lead design consultant. Over the next 18 months, 270 Hunter Road will be redeveloped from a single tenant, B Class warehouse/manufacturing property to an A Class, multi-tenant, warehouse/industrial property. The scope of work to be undertaken includes a new exterior featuring glass, metal, concrete block, signage, as well as new landscaping, loading, parking, HVAC, electrical, and roofing. When completed, 270 Hunter Road will offer bays of 24,000 to 100,000 square feet, dock and grade loading, and 24’ clear ceiling height.
